Wayne Bennett
Wayne Bennett is one of the most successful and innovative coaches in NRL history, known for his long tenure and impressive winning record. He coached the Brisbane Broncos for 21 years, guiding them to five premierships and two World Club Challenge titles. He also led St George Illawarra to their first NRL title in 31 years and later coached the Newcastle Knights, South Sydney Rabbitohs, and became the inaugural coach for the Dolphins in 2023.
Bennett has coached at the state and international level, notably steering Queensland to State of Origin victories and Australia to success in the ANZAC series. His accolades include multiple Coach of the Year awards and being recognised as Queensland Father of the Year in 1998.
